Intake Date: 11/12/2017 Last Update: 12/31/2017 Date Available: 1/2/2018 Age: I'm approximately 6years young! Birth Date: it's unknown when I blessed this world with my presence but we can celebrate my birthday on the day you take me home! Gender: sweet little lady Weight: 20lbs Energy level: I'm pretty low energy. I'd be content snoozing and laying around all day but I still need my exercise so I can keep my perfect figure. Color & Markings: I'm considered "cream" colored, I'm just as sweet as cream too! Can go to a home with dogs: If my new home has another pup it will need to be a male dog, I can have female buddies but I don't want to live with them. It is crucial that I am introduced to any other canines with a slow intro process so I can be comfortable and friendly around them. Please do not adopt me if the main reason is your dog needs a "best buddy". I can be nippy with other dogs if they are too close too soon. Can go to a home with cats: I can deal with a cat as long as they're pretty calm and leave me alone most of the times Can go to a home with kids: if mini humans live in the home I'm okay with that as long as they're over the age of 8 (per BBR policy), and are mature enough to understand I'm not a "toy" Object aggression: I'm territorial over my crate. Humans can come near my crate but I prefer if my fur siblings leave me alone while I'm in there. Special needs: I'm a special little lady! I have this pesky little condition they call "dry eye" so I will need eye cream in my eyes twice a day for the rest of my life. I have some itchy, sore skin due to me living my whole life in a hard crate, I am getting medicated baths for twice a week for this, don't worry, it will get better in time! I will need to be fed a high quality grain free food, and I prefer it to be lamb or duck flavored because my tummy digests it better. I've got these big ears too so they will often need cleaned. This may sound like a lot but it's really manageable, plus my cute face, and all the lovings I give makes it worth it! Medications: Eye cream for life, I've lived 6 years with a dry/cracked nose so I'd definitely benefit from a good nose balm to help keep this face pretty. I also enjoy a nice medicated shampoo for my dry skin. I also need a heart worm and flea preventative Crate trained: Did someone say crate?!?! Yes, I love my crate. This is my safe place, my new home must provide me with a crate with a nice soft bed so I can lay in there comfortably please. But if I know you are putting me in my crate because you are leaving me, I will make some noise to show my displeasure because I will miss you so much! But I do settle down. House trained: yes, even with this cute face the humans still make me potty outside, it helps that I'm so good at going potty outside! Although I won't really let you know I have to go. I'm good with routines so just keep me on a good, consistent one, and I will have no accidents. I wont even have accidents while you're away at work! Just take me out before you leave and right when you get home and I'm good to go! Physical Fence Required: I don't need a fence! I'm not much of a runner but I love walks and I'm good on my leash so if I don't have a yard to exercise in please make sure I get a walk in. Adoption Donation: $500 Prior to applying to adopt Abigail please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.

My Ideal Home:Hello! My name is Abigail and I'm the sweetest pup ever!!!! I'm a very well behaved dog. I'm not big into playing toys but they sometimes spark my interest. I'm very good at not chewing on things I'm not supposed to and I'm not a big mess maker. I'm a shy girl but once I trust you I have a boat load of love to give! I've got a quirky personality that'll always keep you laughing! I'm good at going on walks, and my all time favorite thing to do is cuddle with a human family member and get pets/rubs/ and scratches! I'm a good girl and I've been dreaming about meeting you for about 6 years now!
My foster mom has me accustomed to this pampered girl life. It's like being in a spa! I get medicated baths for my dry skin and my ears cleaned on a regular basis. I get eye cream for my dry eyes twice a day and I'm fed high quality food. I'm spoiled and I love it. I need it to keep up my beauty regimen and not be itchy and unhappy.
I live with foster siblings now and we get along but if you want to adopt me you need to understand that I am not going to be happy with a dog that is high energy or that needs a "best buddy." I would do best with another low energy dog, like me, and I will need to go through the slow intro process of introduction to the new sibling. Following this requirement will ensure that we all get along.
If you think I'd be a good addition to your family let the folks at BBR know by filling out an adoption application! Thanks for stopping by and checking me out!
