My likes: I love people and I love my Yak chews. I also like to chew on wood, so keep an eye on your tables! It would probably be best to give me more chew toys/bones to ensure your furniture stays intact.
My dislikes: I don't like strange noises and will bark. I also don’t like to share my stuff with other dogs. I will take things, and fight for them if I have too. Because of this, it would be best if I am paired with a dog who is very submissive or is wholly uninterested in toys, chews and bones.
I get along with: I get along with every person I've met! I am a bit of a flirt with male attention. While I do get along with other dogs if toys/chews aren't a factor, I definitely need to have a slow into with other dogs so it is imperative that my new family is both willing and able to follow that protocol. I will need to be in a home with a submissive dog, if there is one in the household.
My ideal home: I would like a home where I am the center of attention. I would probably be OK with being the only dog, but I will need exercise and mental stimulation regularly, so my new family should be active and willing to invest in time to spend with me. I am not a huge fan of sharing so if I am living with another dog they will need to be able to accept that I am the boss and not to touch my things. I am also quite the watchdog and will let you know when I hear noises. I might do better in a house rather than an apartment because even though I am small, I like to think my voice is mighty!
My ideal adopter: I love all humans! I love to snuggle up and peacefully chew on my bones without disturbance from other dogs. An energetic family without small kids would be best for me. I came to BBR needing an emergency surgery due to prolapse, so my new family should be committed to a high-quality food, without any people food. They should also not be opposed to wiping a bulldog bum—I will need a wipe after going out!
