Origination Place: Berlin, OH Last Update: 4/13/20 Age: approx 7 yrs DOB: Unknown Gender: Female Weight: 20 lbs Energy Level: Med Color & Markings: Tan Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids: BBR Policy states no children under the age of 8+. Object aggression: Occasionally with her bones. Special Needs: Eye meds everyday for life for dry eye. Medications: Cyclosporine eye drops and eye lubricant drops. Regular heartworm and flea prevention. Crate Trained: Yes, loves her crate House Trained: Not completely...working on it Physical Fence Required: Yes Adoption donation: My likes: I LOVE my crate, it's my sanctuary. I played with toys until I discovered marrow bones...I love to chew. I also love food, treats, playing with my fellow adoptee, Nioma/Naomi, chasing leaves and squirrels if given the opportunity, and having my head rubbed. I like to sleep a lot, but I get the zoomies too, I'm learning to love hanging out on the couch with my foster family. My dislikes: Being approached too quickly and stairs I get along with: most people but I can be selective about dog friends, I have been snappy with my foster sister but we get along most of the time...she is growing on me and we have even been caught sleeping next to each other. My ideal home: A home where someone is home often, can give me a lot of attention and let me out frequently. A fenced in yard where I can run and hunt would be great...I'm not so great on a leash. My ideal adopter: Someone who is willing to work with me on my house training and hang out with me. Additional info you might want to know about me: I don't have a lot of experience walking on a leash but my foster dad says I'm ok at it...I am stubborn and don't always want to go where he wants me to go, so I need practice. I will take off running if given the opportunity. I'm a good girl at getting my eye meds. I could go to a home with or without other dogs, but I am really attached to my fellow foster adoptee, Nioma/Naomi. We hang out together in each other's crates. I currently sleep in the bed with my foster parents, but I would be okay in a crate, as long as I am close by. I haven't shown any interest in a dog bed, I prefer my crate. I have come a long way in my potty training, but I still need work. A routine and being taken out frequently is necessary. I pee often, but a little bit at a time. I usually pee two or three times before coming back inside. I haven't gone in my crate or in the bed, so I can go for long periods of time without being let out. I'm a good guard dog. My intake info: Retired breeding dog Prior to applying to adopt Ann please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.
