My Ideal Home:
Hello, I'm Bella. I was lovingly surrendered to BBR when my mom had to move to assisted living. She loved me so very much and was very sad to have to give me up but she knew BBR would find me a wonderful family to take care of me.
I am definitely a cuddler. I love to be by my people all the time. I also love to go for walks with my people! I stay pretty close to my humans, but I am definitely on the quicker side. I can run, and I like to run! When my family puts my halter on, I get super excited to go for a "walk" - and when I say "walk," I mean I'm going to pull you around the yard until we go inside and I collapse for a quick nap.
I am a barker! Hear something unfamiliar? BARK. See someone walk into a room? BARK. Something startles me from my nap? BARK. And BARK should be translated as, "Bark, bark, bark, bark, snort, snort, bark, bark (while running in circles."
I love to be right next to you...especially during sleepy time. I want to sleep with you and may try to snuggle under the covers, if you don't stop me. I'm starting to play with toys, but my foster family is trying to help me understand that socks and dryer sheets are not toys.
I get along with other dogs, but I have a touch of little dog syndrome - I am "large" and in charge (or at least I like to think so). I get along with my foster sisters, but I lean toward the bossy side - nothing bad, but I like to let folks know that I am here and looking for attention! I am sweet as can be with a side dish of cantankerous :) Spoil me, please! Children are lovely, and I get along great, but for my health or safety it's probably best that I not get too, too excited :)
I go in to the crate fine but I hate it there. I tend to whine, bark, and bite the crate. When my foster family leaves the house, they let me just hang out now...I rarely have accidents and am not a chewer.
