My ideal home: A home with no stairs or a few stairs, possible ramp for me to walk up and down, doesn’t have carpet unless your okay with some accidents here and there since I’m still learning to be be potty trained, keeps small items off the floor or I’ll mistake it for a treat
My ideal adopter: Would be very patient as I’m learning to be potty trained. Someone who could potentially work with me on going up stairs ( my short and stubby legs prevent me from going up and I’m afraid to go down), someone who would be okay with picking me up or placing a ramp for me to get down if they decide not to teach me to go up and down stairs, can wake up early to take me outside cause I’m a morning dog
Additional info you might want to know about me:
Hiya friends! My name is Brenda! I came from a very small town in Berlin, Ohio. One thing you’ll learn about me; I wont do anything quick... unless there’s a treat in your hand, then I’ll reconsider. If you have another furry friend living with you.. AWESOME!! I’m pretty energetic and would love to have a friend and if not, that’s okay too! You’ll just have to be okay with me following you everywhere and some play time! When I get playful, I tend to nibble on fingers and arms. I hope you’ll be patient with me and help me work on this. I haven’t really lived in a house before, so another thing I would need help with is being potty trained. My foster family has been rewarding me with treats when I use the bathroom outside which as you can tell, is my biggest motivation. I’m super food oriented! No long romantic walks to the food bowl for me, I am sprinting at full speed!! On that note, I am not so good with stairs. An ideal home for me would either have no stairs or a nice ramp for me to get to where I need to be. I was born with bowed legs and it doesn’t help that they’re short and stubby. I’m looking for a home that’s willing to be patient with me as I train to be better, doesn’t mind loud snores at night and some sassiness.
If this sounds like you.. then we are going to be furever friends!
With love, Brenda 🐾
