My ideal home: I would LOVE a home with another dog to play with. I’m pretty easy to please and love everyone so most homes would be perfect for me.
My ideal adopter: Would be very patient as I’m learning to be potty trained. Someone who could potentially work with me on going up stairs ( my short and stubby legs prevent me from going up and I’m afraid to go down), someone who would be okay with picking me up. I can wake up early to take me outside cause I’m a morning dog
Additional info you might want to know about me:
Hiya friends! My name is Brenda! I came from a very small town in Berlin, Ohio. One thing you’ll learn about me; I wont do anything quick... unless there’s a treat in your hand, then I’ll reconsider. If you have another furry friend living with you.. AWESOME!! I’m pretty energetic and would love to have a friend and if not, that’s okay too! You’ll just have to be okay with me following you everywhere and some play time! When I get playful, I tend to nibble on fingers and arms. I hope you’ll be patient with me and help me work on this. I haven’t really lived in a house before, so another thing I would need help with is being potty trained. My foster family has been rewarding me with treats when I use the bathroom outside which as you can tell, is my biggest motivation. I’m super food oriented! No long romantic walks to the food bowl for me, I am sprinting at full speed!! On that note, I am not so good with stairs. I was born with bowed legs and it doesn’t help that they’re short and stubby but with some encouragement (and lots of treats) I should be able to overcome this. I’m looking for a home that’s willing to be patient with me as I train to be better, doesn’t mind loud snores at night and some sassiness.
If this sounds like you.. then we are going to be furever friends!
With love, Brenda 🐾
