Hi! My name is Butters, but I am often referred to as a Love Bug! That's because I like to be held. You might even say I am a super cuddler! I can be a bit of a couch potato, so if you are looking for a dog to snuggle up with while watching some tv, I am your gal! My foster mom also says I have a very sweet soul. I do enjoy playing with toys, I will even fetch toys and excitedly return them to you. But only you! I don't share toys with other dogs. At all. Actually, I hide them in my crate. I tend to be the same way with food and treats. If there are no toys or treats around, I get along really well with my foster brother, but not as much with my foster sister. An ideal home for me will be one that does not have other female dogs and is able to actively work on training with me. My new home should also be committed to feeding me separately if there is another dog in my new home. An experienced adopter will be best for me, because I do have some special medical concerns. I have congenital multiple hemivertebrae, causing neurological deficits in my hind legs. My hips are also malformed. I am not in any pain but I appear uncoordinated and drag my legs. Because of this, I should not be walked on concrete because I will hurt my paws by dragging them. My medical issues could progress or worsen at any time so my adoptive family will need to be prepared to provide the necessary medical care if so. Even though I was born with some medical problems, I just know you are going to fall in love with my darling face, sweet cuddles and silly personality! Prior to applying to adopt Butters please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.
