About Charlotte: I am just the happiest, wiggliest perfect pup! At just one year old, there’s not much that phases me, but it’s important to remember that my personality is still developing as I age. I love, love, love attention and my whole body wiggles to share my excitement when I'm around my people! I think I like other dogs but being a puppy, I need some work on my manners. So, proper, slow introductions to other dogs a will be important, as not everyone appreciates my energy! Another young, playful dog would likely be the best match for me, if there’s another dog in the home.
I love to play fetch but am also just as happy sitting for pets. I'm not really obsessed about toys like some dogs and so probably would be just fine sharing them. I'm a happy-go-lucky gal that will do well in just about any environment—but since I'm a high-energy little one myself, a home with young children probably wouldn't be ideal.
Intake info: I was surrendered to BBR bc my family no longer had time for me with a 6 year old child, both parents working full time and another dog in the home. There’s a lot of mention of behavioral urinary accidents in the home and BBR suspects this played a large role in my surrender. I was said to have had “mild seizure activity” at one point in my life but further testing showed no Neuro deficits or cause for concern. These were said to be staring episodes and do not sound like true seizures but whomever adopts me should be aware of this should it be something that needs watched for in the future. As for the urinating, I’ve shown great control during my short time with BBR and have managed to hold my urine for long stretches. But since I am a Frenchie and we aren’t always known for being the best at pottying outside (plus I’m still really just a puppy), patience will be helpful in my adoptive home.
