Doc
Intake Date: 1/4/2017 Last Update: 3/2/2017 Date Available: 3/5/2017 Accepting Applications until: The right home has been picked! Age: Estimated to be 6 years old. DOB: Unknown Gender: male Weight: 19-20lbs Energy Level: moderate to high Color & Markings: fawn with some white Good with other dogs: Yes..no problems. Very submissive Good with cats: Nope, not at all, no cats for me. They are tasty treats! Good with kids: BBR Policy states no children under the age of 8+. I have not shown any type of object aggression, nipping, biting, etc. So kids ages 8+ for me, please! Object aggression: None. Special Needs: Doc had a rectal polyp. It was tested for cancer and it came back cancer free! Yay doc! The polyp was removed and reports seemed to be positive . His foster mom says "I've really seen no adverse outcome as a result of the surgery... i.e. incontinence or any other issue. He does at times loose stool but I can't really attribute that to anything. I think high quality, grain free, limited ingredient, diet as they all do and a little bit of pumpkin from time to time and that's really it". Medications: Flea and tick prevention, Heartguard, daily joint supplement. Crate Trained: I don't enjoy going in a crate, but a little treat helps. I've spent most of life in a crate..soo small periods of time i am ok and leaving the door open so I can come and go helps me House Trained: almost there! Learning quickly! Doc knows it's a great thing to go to the bathroom outside. He needs reminders and someone to learn his schedule. Physical Fence Required: maybe.. at the very least a leash. Adoption donation: $400.00 My ideal home would be: My ideal home would be where I can receive the love and attention I so desperately want. I love to cuddle and be with people. Everything looks so interesting to me. I love being outside and watching the leaves and listening to the birds. I want to make people smile and be proud of me. I will be so happy when you walk into a room or if I just hear your voice! I'm still learning what it is to be a dog and how to play. Sometimes I get scared my food isn't coming or it will be taken so I eat extra fast. Please remind me I am safe and sound and I don't need to rush. I love walking on a leash and playing outside. I will be as silly or as loving as you are. Prior to applying to adopt Doc please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.

My Ideal Home:
Intake info: Doc like many of the Frenchie's that come into care was surrendered from our contact in Cincinnati. Due to the strong likelihood that he is a puppy mill dog, we do not have much information on him at all. He will be getting all of his shots, medical treatment, and care at our vet clinic before moving to his foster home.
