Intake Date: 10/5/2017 Date Updated: 10/12/2017 Date Available: Age: 3 ish DOB: unknown Gender: Male Weight: 17 pounds Energy Level: Extremely high Color & Markings: Fawn and white Good with other Dogs: Yes. I do not mind other doggies at all! I will say hello, but then it’s their human that I really wanna get some lovins from. Good with Cats: Yes. Cats don’t scare me, and I do not retaliate with cats hiss at me. I just look at them and walk away. Good with Kids: BBR policy states only kids 8+. I am excellent with people of all ages but any kids in the house should understand I still have some puppy left in me and they need to be able to handle all my energy. Object Aggression: I have no aggression whatsoever with food, however, if another dog tries to take my ball – it’s game on. Mawm bought that for me!!! Special Needs/Medications: A special boy like myself comes with several special needs. I currently require a medicated bath every other day. My skin all along my tummy and my backside is infected, so we’re working on that. By “we” I mean my mawm – she has to do everything for me! Muahahaha Also, I am currently on 14 days of antibiotics to clear up my infection, as well as allergy medicine daily, not to mention steroid drops for my bat ears! Create Trained: Yes. Sometimes I sleep in there at night. I do not prefer my crate, though – and never choose to go in there on my own. However, I do not cry or anything when mawm puts me in there. I’m a good boy and wait quietly until she comes back for me. House Trained: Almost. I mean, I AM a Frenchie! I am not yet neutered so I love to mark on things. Mawm didn’t appreciate me marking in her room – but I only did it once. That’s not THAT bad, right?! Physical Fence Required: No. I am mawm’s shadow and no other dog (even if they’re barking), person looking at me, etc. makes me go away from her. All I care about is her. And my ball. But in the opposite order. I always come when she calls me. I should always be on a leash and supervised when outside. Adoption Donation: TBD Prior to applying to adopt Hank please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.

My Ideal Home:
My name is Hank. My mawm says I have an unbreakable spirit. She’s right. I cannot even remember what my old life was like. I am just so happy to be cared for.
The first thing you should know about me is that I am NOT your typical Frenchie. I am the most athletic bulldog my mawm has ever fostered. I could play ball for hours – I’m not exaggerating -- HOURS. I typically walk at least a couple miles a day, too. My mawm took me hiking a few days ago and I loved it! I am happiest and most well-behaved when I am well exercised. I do love some good snugs, but only after I hit the town for a while.
Additionally, though I am super pawsitive, I know I have a bit of a long road ahead of me. Not only do I have to get neutered, but I also need to have surgery on my corkscrew tail, and on my nasal snares. Can you even IMAGINE how much ball I will want to play once I can properly breathe through my nose?!
Thanks for stopping by!
Intake info: My original owner passed away and his family gave me to a new family and it was not a good fit. I was dropped off at a shelter in rural Ohio and the kind folks there knew that BBR was the crew for me to get me to my forever home!
