9/8/2015 - Although Jacques is an 8 years young, please do not let that trick you. He is very energetic and loves his walks so much he prances (think prancercise). However, he enjoys his naps on the couch just as much as his walks. Jacques is a mild mannered dog that LOVES attention from people. So much, that he will give you a little nudge with his hand or head for a nice rub.
Jacques will do best with a family that ensures he gets his 3 walks a day, home most of the time (and if not, he needs to be kept busy), and possibly the only animal in the house because lets face it, Jacques loves his attention! Although he does very well in the home with the 9 year old (dominant) Frenchie, which is why its not necessary he be the only dog, just preferred.
He is doing wonderful on his grain free diet and it is highly recommend he remain on it. Other than his medication twice a day and his "special" diet, Jacques is a very healthy, energetic, loving boy and will make someone a very happy owner.
9/16/2015 - In addition to his 3 walks per day, Jacques will also do best with an owner that will be able to let him out for a lunch time wee. He has shown no aggression towards other dogs in the community and runs up to people outside to say hi and for a scratch on the head. He really is a people loving pooch and during our walks we stop at the clubhouse for a treat and he will run in and great the receptionists. As with any Frenchie, he will need a strong owner because he is a little mischevious :)He has started to really open up in foster care and is playing and running with the resident bully.
He is a very loving, sweet boy and needs somewhere were he can get a lot of love and attention.
Intake info: Jacques is an owner surrender.
