My Ideal Home: Hi! My name is Josie and I have been in BBR's care for a few months now and in that time I have made a lot of progress! I started out being skittish and scared, but now I am showing my personality more and more! I really enjoying going places, and while I do not really love the car that much, I am so happy when we arrive and there is a new place for me to explore!
I am a curious gal and I used to investigate a little by chewing things but now I have learned to be a good girl and not chew on things I shouldn't! Most recently, I learned that the Christmas tree is not for chewing! I still don't care so much for my toys, but I really like chewing my bones.
I also really love to play with my foster brother Chopper and other dogs too! Even though I like to play, you should know that I am a bossy lady. I try to lead my foster brother. I don't like to share my bed at all, and I really don't like it when my foster mom pays more attention to Chopper than to me. I can be rather pushy for her attention, and will need my new family to help me learn to wait my turn for attention.
My biggest accomplishment is getting a lot better at potty training! I don't have any accidents when I am on a strict potty schedule. But, I do sometimes still have trouble overnight or if no one is home to let me out during the day. I know I am not supposed to go inside though, so it would be best if I was able to be let out frequently by my new family instead of being home alone all day.
Overall, I am a very sweet and playful girl that wants all of your attention, including wanting to make you happy! If you have lots of love to give, I am ready to return it!
