My likes: I like attention, cuddling, laying in sunny spots in the house, treats, breakfast, lunch, dinner, snacks (essentially food, any time of the day!), naps (especially on the couch), short walks and long car rides.
My dislikes: I am quite annoyed when my meals are late!
I get along with: Dogs, cats, people. Everyone—I’m a natural charmer!
My ideal home: My ideal home is one where I can live on the first floor, since stairs are not my favorite thing. A nice ranch would be ideal, but as long as there's someone willing to carry me or slowly train me on carpeted steps, I will be great.
My ideal adopter: I’d be happiest in a family where my people have time to pamper me with the attention I deserve. I also appreciate a consistent schedule for meals and potty trips. But heck, I'd love any human that would love to let me snuggle next to them and give me loads of attention. If you can snuggle, I'm all yours!
Additional info you might want to know about me: I am a happy, bubbly, energetic gal. On top of my sparkling personality and unique beauty, I’m perfecting a new style of runway walk that sets me apart from all the other dogs. I’m committed to teaching the humans how to walk, so don’t be surprised when you find me walking right next to you. At your ankle. Often. We will get there together, OK?
I do need eye meds twice a day, and my folds cleaned daily, but it’s a breeze. I understand the drill, and am more than cooperative for my glam team.
Since my eyesight isn’t so perfect, sometimes it takes me a minute to figure out that a new object isn’t scary. Once I barked for awhile at what I thought was a UFO, but as it turns out, it was a ceiling fan! Another time I was hollering at this beautiful dog I saw, but upon closer inspection I realized it was me—in the mirror.
I’m a very confident lady who knows what I want and isn’t afraid to speak up. Most often it’s when the kitchen takes too long to serve my food, or if I need to excuse myself to go potty. Or if I’m ready for my daily doses of love and my time in the spotlight. Trust me, I’m going to be a fabulous addition to some lucky family!
My intake info: I originally came to BBR as part of the 2021 "No Bully Left Behind" China rescue mission and was re-surrendered to BBR due to a family emergency.
