My likes: I like to chew on a good bone and carry around my plush toys. A nice (short) leash walk is always fun, and I love to lay outside and work on my Frenchie tan! I can't walk too far, but I enjoy getting pushed around in my special pet stroller so I can enjoy the fall weather. When I'm not out and about, I love curling up next to my humans and watching television.
My dislikes: I do not care for being alone! I want to be with my foster family and in the mix at all times. If you leave me out of the fun, I will make my displeasure known!
I get along with: I love every person I meet, and am enjoying getting to know the other dogs in my foster home. I like to follow them around but due to my back issues, I should only be around other dogs that are gentle with me.
My ideal home: I'm looking for a home with people who are down to hang! I want to be in the middle of it all, with my humans and other dogs. I'm learning how to be a dog, so having (calm, gentle) canine friends to learn from and follow around is awesome! Because of my hind-end weakness, a house without too many stairs would be best.
My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone that understands that my spinal issues could affect me long-term, and they need to be committed to my rehab. Folks with experience managing Frenchie health problems are a plus, but really I just need someone to give me a little extra TLC and take the time to understand my special needs. I'm getting better with potty training, but my adopter will have to remember that I'm still a puppy and learning more every day!
Additional info you might want to know about me: I have a lot of love to give and will make an excellent companion! My foster family named me "Lady" because I am just that—a perfect lady! I am as sweet as can be and very gently and calm. I was a breeder surrender and am learning how to be a normal puppy, and my foster family says my personality is shining more and more by the day! Although I came into BBR with difficulty using my hind legs due to suspected spinal issues, I've been steadily improving with medication and water therapy/laser treatments.
Please welcome Lady to BBR! This bio will be updated as we learn more about her. Stay tuned!
