My Ideal Home: Hi my name is Lillie, Lillie Bean, Bean-Bean, or just plain Bean! I am a 2.5 year old gorgeous girl who is still trying to figure out what being a real dog is like. I came from a Mill and have no clue how to do most normal dog things.
Corners are my safe spot right now I will find one wherever I am and try and hide in one, people always seems to find me because I am not a small girl. My Foster Mom's are working on getting me out of the corners with Touch Therapy and firm yet gentle cues (a leash really helps). I have made some progress with people but am still very un-trusting of people in general. I am hand shy and cower when people come near me.
I am not house trained but have been doing much better of going outside to use the restroom!
My Foster family is very proud of me for the progress I have made though. When it is time for cuddles I don't give in easily but once I am sitting with one of my Foster Mom's I will allow them to pet me and I even fall asleep sometimes, I am just not ready to look at them yet! I now take treats even though I don't like to chew things and am starting to eat really well!
I do really well with other dogs, they are my favorite because that's all I have ever known. My Foster family keep telling me I am going to make an amazing addition to a family, they say I am so sweet! I can't wait to continue on this journey to learn what the best life ever is going to be like its just taking me some time to get there!
My perfect home would have another fur-baby that I can play with and a Mom and Dad who will have patience with me. I am the sweetest but will need a lot of time to adjust. I cant wait to me my furever family!
