My ideal home:
Hi there! My name is Mya and my foster family describes me as a sweet, precious girl! I am a pretty quiet gal, looking for a home that has another dog to help show me the ropes. I like to play with the other dogs in my foster family but am also fine when they ignore me.
Above all, I love being near humans. I would love a family that lets me cuddle near them and even maybe sleep by them too. I am mostly crate trained but I just really love lying beside you. I love when my humans come home from work each day and love getting pets and belly rubs when they do! I am definitely not a runner - I like to stay near my humans, so a fully fenced yard is not necessary for me.
Like most dogs who come from breeding situations, I am still getting used to life in a household. Loud noises still startle me and as can new situations and sometimes even being outside by myself too. A family that understands this and is patient with me and helps me as I transition will be best for me. I will also need a family willing to commit to patience and a schedule to help me with potty training, although I am currently working on this. If my future home had steps they will need to teach me how to use them because so far I’m not the greatest at steps.
Mostly, I would love to have a family that shows me what love is all about and has plenty of play toys to chew.
