Nugget (Little Nugget)
Prior to applying to adopt, please be sure to read the process information for adoption, accompanied by the rules for adoption consideration: See Link: Adopt a Bulldog
Intake Date: 12/14/206 Last Update: 1/11/2017 Date Available: 1/11/2017 Age: They believe that I'm around 7 or so years old. Hey, don't send me off to pasture quite yet. Haven't you heard that "older = wiser". That's me! DOB: My date of birth is not known sadly. You see I came in from a shelter. I think it's probably best that you celebrate my beautiful life, every single day! Gender: Female Weight: I'm around 38 pounds and now that I'm feeling better, I might put a few more on! Energy Level: My energy level is relatively low, that's due to a combo of being a senior lady and a bulldog, but don't let that fool ya, I like to play and I have spurts of energy and enjoy a good time! Color & Markings: I'm mostly white with some very adorable brindle markings! Can go to a home with other dogs: I love other dogs, but there is a catch. I have to be introduced to them slowly. I need to know if they are trustworthy. BBR can help with this, because they have a wonderful slow-intro policy that can make the transition wonderful for all of us! Can go to a home with cats: I've never been around cats, but it's possible that I can get along wonderfully with them since I have relatively low energy. However, it's important to know that I'm not quite sure! Good with kids: BBR Policy states no children under the age of 8+ so, my ideal home will have: Children ages 8+, I haven't shown any signs of aggression in my foster home, I don't really nip, or bite. I would love to have a human sibling who would enjoy laying with me and watching tv while I snore. It's not required, but it sure would be nice! Object Aggression: I don't have any object aggression, I love sleeping on a dog bed in my foster home and when one of my fur siblings get on it, I will bark to let them know I want it, but I'm definitely not aggressive about it. Special Needs: I will need to eat a high quality/grain free diet, such as; Natural Balance/Sweet potato and venison. I also would benefit from daily joint supplement and without a doubt will need monthly heart worm and flea and tick preventative. Medications: I have this annoying thing that many, many bulldogs get they tell me and it's called "dry eye". I have special (affordable) eye lubricants that I will need everyday for the rest of my life. Crate Trained: I am crate trained, I don't love going in, but I'm not going to put up a fight either. House Trained: I have had a few accidents in my foster home, but my foster dad says that once you learn my routine and if you let me outside regularly, I will do great with this. I especially need to go potty right before bed time to prevent any accidents from happening! Physical Fence Required: No physical fence required (no invisible fences). I tend to go outside, do my business, and come right back inside where it's warm and cozy! Adoption Donation: $300.00 |

My Ideal Home:
You see, I have lived a rough life and my foster dad says that from looks of me, I have had a couple litters of puppies and was probably used for breeding and then was no longer needed. I love to cuddle in my foster dad’s bed with him, in the evening before getting down onto my own dog bed. I want a family who will give me the attention I deserve and give us all many happy memories in return. My foster dad has 2 English Bulldogs of his own, but I pretty much just ignore them, which means that my ideal home will either have dogs, or not, but this is great news for those folks who are interested in a senior bully with a lot of love and heart to give. My ideal home will realize how important my life is and that I deserve a great home to rest as I enjoy the years ahead!
My ideal home will have a human sibling, who wants to cuddle, but it's not required because I will get along with just about anyone.
I'm a special gal, and I want a special family. I'm just a sweet little nugget!

Intake info: Nugget or as we like to call her "Little Nugget" was picked up by one of our volunteers from Summit County Humane Society. She is just coming in, has some obvious medical issues that we will explore. We know nothing of her background or where she came from, but will update her information as it becomes more available.
