My likes: I love people, car rides and of course, food. Kong Wubbas are also on my list of likes.
My dislikes: I don't really like being alone—I'd much rather be with you! I also do not like those pesky things called cats, or being in my crate with the door closed. I'd also prefer if other dogs didn't come into my room. So far I’m ok with my foster brothers as long as they don’t approach my room. They have their own room, and a girl needs her space.
I get along with: People—for sure, people are my favorite!
My ideal home: I would do best with people who are home a lot, and able to just be with me. I’m not really an attention hog though—I’m perfectly happy to sleep under the desk or sit in a chair by the desk while my foster mom works (she says I’m good for her productivity!). I definitely need a cat-free family—I don’t know if I am afraid or unsure of them, but I cannot seem to relax with them around. I get along with other dogs so far as long as they give me space, but I might prefer to get all the attention to myself.
My ideal adopter: I would love a family that has the time, and patience to help me feel secure, learn the basics and work through my anxiety of being alone. An adopter that can help me master basic commands and learn appropriate chewing would be great (apparently that's not the furniture?).
Additional info you might want to know about me: Everyone says I am a total love-bug, and sweet as pie. And can we talk about my butt-wiggles? They’re epic, if I may say so!
I like taking naps in the day and am very easy-going and great about getting my folds cleaned— I don't even mind if you have to do stuff to my feet! I get a little nervous sometimes, but my foster mom isn't sure if it's anxiety or just these shady cats that make me nervous—I try, but I don’t trust them one bit! Taking me for a nice ride in the car before bedtime has been helping me calm down and relax in my crate better— I find my Zen in the car.
I’m a smart lady, I’m highly food-motivated and I try my best to do what’s asked of me. My foster family is amazed at how far I’ve come in a short amount of time. Really, the sky is the limit for me!
