My likes: I am happy to meet everyone, and love being by my people. I will sit or lay by you wherever you go—I even love being held like a baby and can lay like that for hours if you let me. I also like playing with other animals, but am just as happy to chew on a toy or antler by myself.
My dislikes: I don't like the cold! I will go outside, but get chilly easily, so I definitely need a sweater or coat. I am not a fan of the snow, so I prefer to do my business in a shoveled area so my little legs don’t get cold.
I get along with: Everyone! I love dogs and people and just being around everyone else.
My ideal home: I would be a great addition to a family with other canine pals that has the flexibility to keep me on a set schedule throughout the day. Because of my IBS, I need to go out frequently and eat on schedule.
My ideal adopter: If you’re looking for a good work-from-home canine coworker, I will happily be your officemate! I’ll lay next to you or in your lap happily each day. I'm looking for an adopter that likes to cuddle and will be patient with any accidents caused by my grumpy tummy.
Additional info you might want to know about me: I am the sweetest, friendliest little girl! I get along with pets and people and love being with everyone. If I am not included, I will voice my opinion—and can sometimes be a little dramatic about it! Despite my dislike of being left out, I am very calm, gentle and curious. I like check out my surroundings, but I’m not overly active.
An important thing to know is that I have Irritable Bowel Disease, but am improving more and more every day! I am on a strict schedule with eating and going outside (including once during the night). If the schedule is adhered to, I am nearly accident-free! Because of my condition, however, I will need to be on a veterinary diet of hydrolyzed protein and will likely need to be on some medication for the rest of my life. I cannot have human food, even though I love to beg! My foster family keeps a little dish of my food on the counter and gives them to me as treats, which has worked well. I am very treat-motivated and love to please my foster family, so I will do my best to be the best little companion for you!
