My Ideal Home:
Hi, my name is Patty (sometimes my foster mom calls me Pattycakes). I am an owner surrendered pup. I love napping on the couch, getting belly rubs from anyone who wants to give them to me and playing with toys – especially any ball available or my kong. I am a little shy but will warm up quick with positive attention. I am just a roly poly love bug.
I walk really well on a leash but my foster mom says that I still have to build up my stamina before I can make it around the block. I am a little overweight but am slowly working to get back my girlish figure. I am potty trained and am happy to sleep in my crate at night or during the day when my foster mom is at work. My foster mom says I know most of my commands and will usually follow them unless I am tired – then I snooze through everything. Like when my foster brother and I play and then I crash out on the couch, only the sound of food hitting my bowl will get me moving again.
My foster mom wants me to tell you that I don’t make a lot of noise. I snore when I am sleeping and snort when I am playing but don’t bark much. But what lady does? In fact, I have only barked twice since I arrived at my foster home – maybe its because my foster brother does all the talking but who knows. This can make it hard to know when I have to go outside unless you pay attention.
I do need my facial folds and tail pocket cleaned everyday. I don’t really like it but I will tolerate it with a sad look on my face. Usually a favorite toy and a belly rub will perk me right back up.
If you are looking for a furever pup that loves to snuggle on the couch while you watch tv and play with you in the back yard then I am your girl.
