Hey there, my name’s Pistol Pete, but everyone calls me Pistol. I am a guy who has some personality, although my name probably gave that one away! I am also as cute as can be, and I am told I don’t act my age, I act much younger than 7! Aside from my good looks, I am fully crate and potty trained and will go to the door to be let out. I have never had an accident in the house, which is quite the reason to brag! I do like to spend time around my foster family, but I do not need to be center of attention all the time. But if you have a belly rub, or even better, a chin rub to give out, I will be happy to take it! I am pretty food motivated, and have made a lot of progress tolerating my folds being cleaned, if you are handing out treats! I do still gobble down every meal like its my last, so a slow feeder or dividing my meals up works best for me. Also, I. LOVE. MY. TOYS. But I probably shouldn’t have many of them… I love them so much that they helped me earn my name, because although I am actively improving, I can be a bit of a pistol over them. Blankets too. So, an experienced adopter who has patience and understanding, and no other dogs is necessary for me. Prior to applying to adopt Pistol Pete please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.
