Last Update: 03/19/2021 Origination Place: Owner surrender Age: 4 years DOB: 01/4/2017 (estimated) Gender: Female Weight: 35 lbs. Energy Level: Low/Moderate Color & Markings: Red and white Good with other dogs: On my terms Good with cats: No (will chase) Homes with children under 8 can be considered: No Object Aggression: Some Special Needs: Allergies and anxiety Medications: Apoquel; Trazadone; Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Physical Fence Required: Preferred. Adoption donation: My likes: I love to lay around and enjoy my chew toys all day! I'll even play catch with myself, tossing and chasing my chew toys all around. I also like long walks and cuddling on the couch with my people. If it's nice out, I love to move my lounging out on the deck. At night I like to spoon and get really close—my foster mom calls me the 'canoodle noodle!'— so move over and get ready to snuggle! My dislikes: I don’t like it if other dogs are getting attention over me, so I’d be best as an only dog or with a very submissive friend. I also dislike being bored—if you leave me alone with no chew toys, I will definitely find SOMETHING to chew. Best to keep me occupied so I don’t decide on my own what that will be! I get along with: People! I love people. You will be my everything. However, I am a bit of a queen bee and don’t like other dogs stealing my spotlight since I like people so much. My ideal home: I’d love a quiet home where I can lounge and enjoy my chew toys. I have some anxiety issues, so a home without children will be best for me, so I don’t get overwhelmed and scared by hubbub. I can get moody and sassy when I get anxious, so a home that is calm and not overstimulating would keep me relaxed and happy. My ideal adopter: I need a patient, understanding and attentive person who will work with me on my anxiety and be patient as I adjust to a new home. I absolutely love attention, so my ideal adopter is also someone who can shower me with it! Additional info you might want to know about me: Do you have a big bed? Great, because I love to spoon at night! I love to snuggle and cuddle up with you on the furniture—my foster mom says I’m a total cuddlebug! I’m crate trained but I prefer to be left in a room (more space and furniture to sleep on!). I will need a little training to overcome anxiety triggers, but with patience and time, you will get to see my patented butt wiggle that I do with excitement when you come home!
