My likes: I enjoy playing with other dogs and people—chewing on boxes is fun too, and I've been known to make cardboard a temporary bed. I also like drinking water out of the shower (especially while you are in it!) or out of glasses left on end tables near the couch. I also like walks; I will probably refuse to budge at first but if you make me move, I'll be happy to prance around with you! Jumping from couch to couch between my foster parents is another big joy of mine.
My dislikes: I need my beauty sleep, so I really don’t like being touched while I’m sleeping. I also don’t like being told what to do—classic bulldog!
I get along with: I love other dogs and people. My Frenchie foster sister and I run around the house like a herd of horses chasing each other. I also like teenagers. I will tolerate the vacuum, but it’s not my best friend.
My ideal home: I would love to be in a home that allowed me on the furniture. It would probably also be better if you didn’t have a lot of breakables laying around, as I love to run like a crazy man around the house at time! A fenced yard where I can go in and out as I please would also be awesome. And, I would love a four-legged playmate!
My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is one that is up to the challenge of dealing with a little ball of sass. I like to be independent, so I’ll need an adopter that can be firm with me and not let me boss them around. I’m also still getting the hang of this potty-training business, so someone who is patient would be perfect.
Additional info you might want to know about me: My foster mom thinks the world of me. I make her laugh all the time—I squeal, roll around and make all sorts of strange noises! I’m pretty happy-go-lucky, and like to keep tabs on the world around me. Many mornings I can be found watching the birds and traffic out the window. My foster mom says I am a bit like a cat; I like attention, but on my terms. 3 pats are great, but sometimes 4 is too many! I’ll come to you when I’m looking for love.
However, I LOVE to greet you after we’ve been apart—having people return to me makes me so very happy! I also love a good car ride, though I prefer to ride in the passenger seat, even if it’s already occupied by a human!
My intake info: I came to BBR as part of the 2021 "No Bully Left Behind" China Mission.
