Origination Place: CHINA Last Update: 3/29/20 Age: 1.5 (estimated) DOB: Unknown Gender: Female Weight: 18 lbs Energy Level: Medium - High Color & Markings: Black & White Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids: BBR Policy states no children under the age of 8+. Object aggression: None Special Needs: None Medications: Heartworm and flea medication. Malacetic wipes for paw irritation. Crate Trained: If left in my crate for long hours I will occasionally have an accident. House Trained: Partially - Does great if on a rigid schedule. I need to go outside every 1.5 - 2 hours. I do not signal that I need to go out, so a regular potty schedule will be very helpful. Physical Fence Required: Fence or leash walking required. Leash walking is new for me so I am still learning manners and I tend to pull my human around! I am small but mighty so will need someone with patience to help me with leash walking. Adoption donation: My likes: Balls and toys, cozy blanket/bed. People! Belly rubs. Treats and food. My dislikes: I like being where the action is. I do not like being in a separate room if I can hear a lot of activity going on somewhere! I do well when left out of the crate so my foster family does not crate me often. I get along with: People! I am a sweet girl who loves people. I can be hyper and am looking for somebody to play with me. My ideal home: Where I can get plenty of attention and will not be crated for long hours. My ideal adopter: Someone with energy and patience. I am energetic and need someone to take me on walks and continue working on house training and manners. Additional info you might want to know about me: I’m spunky and adventurous. I am quick on my feet and love to bounce around! I also like to chew on fingers when people are petting me because I think we are playing a game. I can be hyper but I also appreciate naps and will happily snooze away when there is not a lot of activity. My intake info: Suzhou was rescued by an organization in China dedicated to providing a safe haven for all dogs, but particularly those who may be at risk for, or were, part of the meat trade. In coordination with that organization, BBR was able to bring Suzhou from China to the US. Prior to applying to adopt Suzhou please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.
