My Ideal Home:
Hi! I'm Tess! I'm new to this whole "being a pet" scenario but I think it is my totally my scene. I was a puppy mill dog and I was used to produce litters. The great people at BBR brought me into my current foster home where I have been spoiled by a mom and a dad and I love it! I love attention and petting and snuggling and having a warm bed to sleep in each night. I have made great progress while being in the foster home. I'm learning manners and how it is not polite to stare at mom and dad while they are eating. I'm learning where it is appropriate to potty and how to tell my parents I have to go. I'm still not sure on this whole "toy" aspect as I've never had toys to play with before but I'm willing to learn! I was a stress chewer at the puppy mill so my teeth are ground down pretty close to my gums. I like to have my food dampened so it is softer for me to chew. I will do best in a home with a fenced in yard as I am a runner. Have you ever seen an English Bulldog run? Open the door and I'll show you what it looks like! I like to go in my crate and nap as I feel that is my safe space. I have an elongated soft palate that makes my breathing a little loud. But the vet says I'm ok and it'll only be a little disruptive to those around me having a conversation. So stop talking and pay attention to me!
