Crate Trained:Update: Tillie did love her crate, but now has discovered a whole new world and has a lot of exploring to do! Tillie came from a puppy mill and was probably used to being shut in a cage her whole life. She has now discovered that there are toys to be played with, and bones to be chewed, and doggie beds to lay on, and treats to be had! She still sleeps in her crate every night but looks forward to coming out in the morning to eat breakfast and enjoy a whole new day of exploration! House Trained: No, but working on it! This will take time as she was again, a puppy mill dog used to going potty in her own cage, whenever she wanted. We try to have her on a schedule with frequent trips outside and as soon as she comes out of the crate, we let her out first thing. Physical Fence Required: No Adoption donation: 600 My Ideal Home: Tillie just needs time to come out of her shell. She's the sweetest little girl ever. She gets along great with her two foster brothers and can sometimes be a little bossy! She will need lots of love and patience in her new home. New situations are a bit scarey for her and she is a little skittish when it comes to loud noises, but she has made huge strides while with us in foster care. She is great with children and has done well in larger groups of people.
My intake info: We don't know much about her except that she did come from a puppy mill. It appears that she had just had a litter of puppies. She seems to be in good health, except for the eye and ear infections. She was spayed and had entropian surgery on both eyes while at VCA Prior to applying to adopt Tillie please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.
