Intake Date: 10/30/20
Origination Place: Breeder surrender Last Update: 01/19/21 Age: 3 months DOB: 10/06/20 Gender: Female Weight: Growing every day! Energy Level: High Color & Markings: Light brindle & white Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Good with kids: Unknown Object aggression: Food Special Needs: Cleft palate Medications: Crate Trained: Working on it House Trained: Working on it Physical Fence Required: Preferred Adoption donation: My likes: I like to play with toys, my brother and sister and my foster siblings—really, I'll play with anyone or anything! I'm a practical gal though, so after I play I like to take a nap. Priorities, right? My dislikes: There isn't much that I don't like. So far in my life, I've found most things to be to my liking! I get along with: Everyone! Puppy love for all! My ideal home: Do you like puppy energy? You better! My ideal home would be with people ready to experience the joys of an energy-filled little pup with a lot of personality! (You must also be open to working some nap time in after all the running around.) Additionally, I'll need a home where there's room in the schedule to work on my training and potty training—hey, I'm only three months old, I've got a lot of learning to do! My ideal adopter: Someone who can't resist my adorable puppy face! Since that doesn't really narrow it down, someone with previous bulldog experience would be a plus or someone who understands the medical complexity of my condition. My ideal adopter is someone that understands that I will need a little extra care when recovering from cleft palate repair. They have to also understand that there are potential issues I could develop or have as the result of being a cleft palate baby—or I could lead a perfectly normal life with only a few limitations. It’s difficult to say! Additional info you might want to know about me: Twinkie's got some pep in her step and is sweet as can be! In addition to all her sugar and spice (and those irresistible ears!) however, Twinkie has a set of unique needs due to her cleft palate and complications that can potentially arise from it. Surgical repair of cleft palate will be necessary when Twinkie comes of age. As with most bulldogs, financial factors should be taken into consideration prior to applying. Prior to applying to adopt Twinkie please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.
