Intake Date: 1-15-20
Origination Place: China
Last Update: 2-5-20
Age: EST. 3
Energy Level: low - medium
Color & Markings: Beautiful Brown/Black Brindle
Good with other dogs: Yes
Good with cats: not tested
Good with kids: BBR Policy states no children under the age of 8+.
Object aggression: No, but I am an extremely quick eater and will help myself to all other bowls. I presently am fed in a crate until my foster brother is finished. Otherwise, I finish his too!
Special Needs: I came to us with pretty nasty ears, and my foster mom is flushing weekly.
Medications: Heartworm/Flea & Tick. At this time flushing ears.
Crate Trained: I do pretty well in a crate, but I sort of prefer a room with a baby gate.
House Trained: No.
Physical Fence Required: No.
My likes: PEOPLE
My dislikes: Seeing my reflection in the window 🤣
I get along with: EVERYONE! I have met lots of people and other dogs, and I get along with everyone.
My ideal home: I would do best in a home with another dog to show me the ropes on housebreaking, or maybe someone who is home all day to help me with a potty schedule. I currently live with an old guy that has to be belly banded, so he has not been very helpful. I will need a family that is patient and helps me to master this whole housebreaking concept.
Now with that being said, I am a very sweet girl. I love snuggling on the couch and sleeping in your bed. I get along wonderfully with my foster brother, and my foster family thinks I am pretty laid back and I hear them tell everyone just how sweet I am.
My ideal adopter: I love everyone in my foster home. I don’t attach to just one family member, but rather love them all equally and will cuddle with whoever is on the couch first. I do really well on a leash, and totally enjoy going for walks. I am young, and I am hoping an active fun family would like to make me a family member.
Additional info you might want to know about me: I am still a little thin. I am very treat driven. I will be a great family member for you!
My intake info: Wu was rescued by an organization in China dedicated to providing a safe haven for all dogs, but particularly those who may be at risk for, or were, part of the meat trade. In coordination with that organization, BBR was able to bring Wu from China to the US.
