Zeus
Intake Date: January 15, 2016
Last Update: February 23, 2016 Date Available: Age: 2 DOB: January 2014 Gender: male Weight: 50 pounds Energy Level: Medium Color & Markings: fawn and white Good with other dogs: Yes- See Below Good with cats: seems scared of them Good with kids: yes 6+ Object Aggression: : bone aggression – this should not be taking lightly and needs training. Bones or raw hides of any kind should not be given. Special Needs: his nose gets really dry and his face folds should be cleaned every day. Medications: None – other than heartworm, flea and tic. Crate Trained: He is kept in a runner in foster care House Trained: yes Physical Fence Required: No Adoption donation: TBD My ideal home would be: A home that will continue my training as I am still a puppy and learning how to behave. Zeus will do best in a home where he is the only animal. Although he is in foster with a smaller dog, I think being the only dog will get him the attention he has lacked in previous situations. The training issue is going to be detrimental to his well-being. He has come a long way with foster care but it has to be noted that Zeus will definitely need more training especially if he gets a home with older kids. Now the good stuff! Zeus is a happy dog that loves attention. He is a people pleaser and loves to jog outside or curl up on the couch. He is quite the cuddler! He really is a fun dog and will offer a family a great companion. Someone that works part time or is able to come let him out during the day is also best for Zeus as he is still got some puppy in him. |
Please consider sponsoring Zeus to help with his medical bills.

Intake info:
Meet Zeus! He was adopted by a family a month ago but surrendered for having issues with an American Bulldog in the home. Both dogs were males and unaltered. He did ok with the two chihuahuas, though. Zeus is said to be good with older kids. After he is neutered, he will placed in his foster home and we will post updates as they are available.
