Learn more about Mimi Rue:My likes: I get along with everyone, human and animal alike. I especially love meal time and toys. Like, I REALLY love all the toys.
My dislikes: Loud noises startle me, but other than that, I haven’t found anything I don’t like. I get along with: Everyone! Dogs, cats, older kids, adults are all good with me. My ideal home: My ideal home would be one without stairs or with minimal steps. I would love to have another dog around my size in the home. A fenced yard is also best for me. Because I am a bit of a wrecking ball with an, "if you're not first, you're last" mentality, a home without small children would be best for me. My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who doesn’t expect me to be a running companion but more of a house lounger. My adopter should be diligent about making sure I get my medicines routinely, as they help with my aching joints! Additional info you might want to know about me: I am such a sweet girl who loves to play and be around my foster family and their animals. I’m very curious. I love being in the warm house, but when I go outside, I do get the zoomies, which are short-lived. My foster family is teaching me how to use stairs appropriately, but for now I’ve only figured out how to get back up them (that’s how I get myself back inside so quickly!) My crate is my safe space; if the door remains open, I don’t panic. My foster mom likes to tell me daily that my imperfection is what makes me perfect. I do have a limp when I walk, but it doesn’t really hold me back. Prior to applying to adopt, please review our adoption process on our website with all rules, expectations and important information.
