Read on to learn more about Opal!My likes: So far I love everything, but I’m a little timid when I first meet someone. Once I warm up to you, though, we are best friends for life. I really enjoy carrying around and burying my toys, chewing on bones and peanut butter lick mats.
My dislikes: While I’m still getting to know my new world, I dislike fast approaches or loud, sudden noises, but I’m working on it. I also dislike going outside in the snow, but my foster mom says I have to. I get along with: Other than being a little timid, I get along with everyone I’ve met. My canine foster brother is my favorite and we play all the time. My ideal home: I am looking for a home that I can continue to come out of my shell and learn about noises and how your home operates. I love looking out the window with my foster brother and would benefit from another dog to learn from. A fenced yard would be great, but isn’t necessarily required for me. Because I am still a bit timid about fast approaches, a home without small children might be the best fit for me at this time. My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who will continue to be patient with me. I’m learning all the new things that I love, but I definitely will need some TLC. Additional info you might want to know about me: I love everything about what they are calling the “good life.” I’m kind of a picky eater and the vet said I need to “lose weight,” but eventually I’ve come around and have already lost a whole pound! I’m a typical Frenchie and have the hops, jumps and twists to prove it. I’d love to snuggle my way into your heart.
