Energy Level: Moderate Color & Markings: Black with white chest blaze Good with other dogs: Dog selective Good with cats: Unknown Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: No Object Aggression: Some resource guarding with food Special Needs: None Medications: Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Mostly! Physical Fence Required: Yes My likes: I like belly rubs, cuddling with my favorite people, running in the back yard while doing bunny hops, and car rides My dislikes: I’m hesitant around unfamiliar people who don’t move slowly and let me warm up to them first and don’t appreciate other high-energy dogs who invade my personal space. I get along with: I get along great with adults— I am the sweetest girl who just wants to love you and give lots of kisses! My ideal home: Preferably I would be your one and only to soak up all of the attention. However, I could possibly do well with another well-mannered dog if introduced slowly. I do well in a crate, but I would love a home where I can spend as much time with my people as possible. A fenced yard is a must for me, as I love to chase things that wander into my yard! My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who is patient and willing to let me open up on my time. I bond very quickly with those who are calm, gentle and give me a chance to blossom! Additional info you might want to know about me: I was born at BBR after my mom was brought to the United States as part of BBR’s China rescue group in 2021. I was adopted but have ended up back at BBR through no fault of my own due to a change in my adopter’s life. Now I’m ready to find my forever home. I'm a funny-looking gal for sure, but am the sweetest thing! My mom was a French bulldog, and my dad was a _____(?). DNA tests showed that I have a little bit of everything on my dad’s side, including Pekingese, chihuahua, Qingchaun hound, Polynesian street dog, Shandog Xigou and more. Such an exotic mix! While I was a timid girl when I first came into rescue, now I don’t leave my foster mom’s side. Even though the other people in the house were scary when I first got here, I’m quickly getting used to them too! I haven’t gotten to meet foster mom’s cat yet, but we are very interested in each other when sniffing under the door. I also think my guard dog skills are top notch—no one is sneaking in on my watch!
