Origination Place: Breeder surrender Last Update: 12/22/2024 Age: 3 years DOB: 11/25/2022 Gender: Male Weight: 24 lbs. Energy Level: Moderate Color & Markings: Blue and tan Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: Yes Object Aggression: None Special Needs: None Medications: Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Working on it! Physical Fence Required: No My likes: I love my toys and chew bones are my favorite! I also love to play with my canine foster brothers any chance I get. My dislikes: I get pretty bummed any time that I am separated in another room from my foster family or my foster brothers. I also think rainy days are the worst! I get along with: I get along with pretty much everyone I meet, whether it is people or pups. My ideal home: I would really enjoy another dog friend to hang out with, someone that would maybe play a game of chase with me, or have a friendly little wrestling match from time to time. I like moseying around the yard, so although a fenced yard isn’t required for me, it’s always a plus! My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter would be someone that will let me follow them everywhere they go since I like to be close to my humans. I think I would benefit from having an adopter that understands the Frenchie ways and could help me keep learning all my good boy skills while being patient with me since I am new to living in a home. Additional info you might want to know about me: I started my life in a puppy mill so living in a home is new to me but I am loving it and I am thriving in foster care! I am a smart boy and I learn fairly quickly but as with most Frenchies, my ears are for decoration only so I may not respond right away to everything that is asked of me. Oops! I absolutely love playing with toys but I can not be trusted with soft toys or stuffies as I am a rather tough chewer. I don’t mind my crate at all and will go right in, especially if a treat is involved. I occasionally pop in my crate for a quick nap or to check on my toys that I have stashed in there. I will go for walks when asked to but please don’t expect our walks together to be real calorie burners. I get bored with walks and at times have to be carried back home. I much prefer to explore around the yard and investigate all the good smells outside. I am working real hard on potty training and my foster mom says that I am catching on quickly and she is very proud of me for how well I am doing. Overall, I am a fun-loving pup that can’t wait to have a forever family of my own!
