Intake Date: 07/24/2025
Origination Place: Breeder surrender Last Update: 08/28/2025 Age: 3 years DOB: 08/04/2022 Gender: Female Weight: 20 lbs. Energy Level: Moderate Color & Markings: Blue Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: Yes Object Aggression: None Special Needs: None Medications: Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Working on it! Physical Fence Required: No My likes: I love to chew on bones and shake fluffy toys. I love to sleep on the couch with my canine foster siblings. They are bigger than me, but that doesn’t bother me. I also love to sleep in bed with my foster mom and I will sleep as long as she does. Eating is great, too! I get super excited with my foster siblings when it’s feeding time. I’ll accept turkey lunch meat or cheese as treats all day! My dislikes: I don’t like peanut-butter dog treats for some reason (what can I say, I'm a special girl). I’m also currently hesitant about stairs or getting down off of things like the couch. I get along with: Everyone! I haven’t met any kids yet, but with my sweet demeanor, my foster mom thinks I’d like them. Cats are a mystery to me as well; no idea what I’d think of them! My ideal home: My ideal home has room for playtime. A fenced yard isn’t required for me, but it would be a great perk, as I like to drag my toys around both inside and outside. I don’t need canine siblings, but I would definitely want to play with them if I had them! My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter would be patient and kind. They will hold me and give me lots of hugs and kisses. They will let me sleep with them and sit with them on the couch. Additional info you might want to know about me: I’m a sassy little lady who will rule the roost! I’m a brave girl who isn’t afraid of noises. It may take me a little while to warm up to you (I'm still not sure about everyone I meet), but I’m so sweet and will love all the attention. I’m a great guard dog and will let you know when someone is outside, though my bravery does not extend to descending stairs or jumping off the couch. I’m sure I will get more confident with going down in time! Prior to applying to adopt Delilah, please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.
