My likes: I love to snuggle and be close to you. I had no idea what a couch, blanket and bed life was about but all I know now is that I love it. I like to chew bones. I'm a good girl at bath time and love the warm water.
My dislikes: I don’t like hardwood or vinyl floors. I get scared on them and play "the floor is lava" until I get to the rug. The vacuum also scares me—it is an evil loud thing that I run from.
I get along with: Everyone. I'm very laid back.
My ideal adopter: Someone who is patient, kind and gentle. My foster family and dogs are helping me figure out how to be a dog but it can be scary to me. It takes me a while to warm up to people but my foster parents are teaching me it is OK and are letting me take my time. I’m still pretty nervous and it will just take time for me to settle in.
Additional info you might want to know about me: I'm very good at going potty outside and don't have accidents in my crate. I'm a very slow eater—who doesn't love to savor their food? I freeze up sometimes and don't want to walk anywhere in the house (especially on flooring!) but my foster parents are being patient with me and pick me up (which I don't mind one bit!).
I know my name and I'm starting to understand the commands “no” and “come.” I'm also a good girl on my leash, I'll let you know when I'm done with the walk by laying on the concrete. I'm also a great backwards walker—that’s how I escape the floor and get to the carpet!
My canine foster brother and sister are teaching my how to play and I’ve been joining in. I get scared and run off sometimes but it is fun for me! I'm a good kisser and love squeezes it makes me feel so loved.
