I really like my crate, it’s my safety zone and I find it oh-so-comfy. I could just lay around all day being lazy. I’m also partial to having my belly rubbed; if you could dedicate all of your time everyday to rubbing my belly, I would be appreciative. I’ll even compromise, how about you rub my belly several times a day, especially when you tuck me in at night. Let’s discuss some other things I’m partial to. Food! Yes, delicious, yummy food! I’ll eat my kibble, sure, but you had better have some of that soft stuff from a can on there too. I also really like those egg things! Treats are okay, I prefer the soft ones that look like bacon. So far, my favorite treat is the cheese in the can that they put in my chew toy. Did I mention I like belly rubs? Just want to be clear on that one. My dislikes: So far there’s not much I dislike. I get along with: so far humans. I have not been exposed to cats, so not really sure what they are. I’ve met a few other dogs in the neighborhood, they’re cool, I could take ‘em or leave ‘em. I’ve met one smaller human, they were calm and slow around me, so we got along just fine. My ideal home: I would love a yard where I could roll around in the grass and run around a bit. Doesn’t need to be huge—I like short sprints and won’t wander far from you. I haven’t really navigated the whole stairs thing. I’m sure I can figure out some carpeted stairs with some training, but right now, I get really confused when people disappear down them. Where do they go?! My ideal adopter: I would love a home where I would have lots of attention. I’m good on my own, but I just like to know someone is around. I make a really good office buddy. In fact, I could sit next to you while you work. I may or may not make you hold my paw while you work. Seriously, is typing with one hand that difficult? Additional info you might want to know about me: I just want to be loved and be your buddy. I have funny little quirks that I’m sure you will find funny. I love to pat you or pull you towards me with my paw. I trot like a horse which the humans find hilarious. I’m not the biggest fan of the cold. In fact, if it’s too cold, I will grab hold of the leash in my mouth and walk you back into the house where it’s warm. I’m not the biggest fan of walks. They make me kind of nervous and I just want to get back to the house or car and I tend to pull. I’m sure I will get better with training, I just need a patient person to work with me. I do like car rides and don’t mind going to stores if you let me ride in the cart. I sleep through the night (I just want my crate near you) and I potty very quickly when we go out. I do like my crate as opposed to the “outside world” but the humans say I’ve come so far in a short period of time. I come out on my own now and explore a bit every day. I even go into the laundry room now to let them know I would like to go outside to potty. Not gonna lie, sometimes I do this just so they’ll rub my belly outside, but I’ll still go potty for making them take me outside in the cold. Most household noises don’t phase me. Doorbell, vacuum, disposal, washing machine… whatever, they don't bother me. So what do you say? Could I come live with you?!
