Physical Fence Required: Preferred My likes: I am learning to be a pet and I LOVE it. Toys are great and it’s nice to have a constant supply of Benebones shared with me, especially if my canine foster siblings are chewing on them. I also like lounging on the patio and curling up on the sofa at night with my foster family and a pile of Benebones. My dislikes: I’m getting the hang of walking on a lead, but if people are on the sidewalk it’s scary. I’m okay in the yard and don’t mind them passing by, but something about them being out where they could get to me is frightening. I’m not a fan of having my folds and ears cleaned, but I tolerate it okay if my foster dad holds me while my foster mom gets down to business. I get along with: My foster family and my canine foster siblings. I’ve also learned to welcome the workmen who constantly come and go! My ideal home: My ideal home is one where I can be with my family no matter where they are. I like having canine foster siblings, so a home with another dog would be great. I'm still a little nervous about noises and things, so a home without really small children would be best (older kids eight years and up though seems like something I could handle!). My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who is patient and will help me get used to my new surroundings. I came into the rescue with some pretty bad skin and an ear infection, so someone who doesn’t mind bathing me and cleaning my ears weekly is ideal. Additional info you might want to know about me: I am very curious and sweet. It takes me a while to warm up to people, but once I do, I’m yours! I am quiet in my crate. I haven’t messed in there or torn up the liner or chewed on it or anything. I’ve learned to use my voice and until I get used to sounds and things (like excitable dogs and people) I’ll use it.
