Origination Place: Breeder surrender Last Update: 08/29/2025 Age: 4 years DOB: 08/04/2021 Gender: Female Weight: 22.1 lbs. Energy Level: Low Color & Markings: Cream Good with other dogs: TBD Good with cats: Yes Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: Yes Object Aggression: None Special Needs: None Medications: Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Almost there! Physical Fence Required: Preferred My likes: I like comfy beds, blankets I can cozy up in, squishy toys and companionship. My dislikes: Sometimes my foster humans move around really fast, which can make me nervous. Luckily, they know I don’t like sudden movements so they just slow down when I’m in the same room, which is really nice! I get along with: I love my foster family, and I think children are cool, too. We are doing slow intros with the other dogs in my foster home, so I’ll keep you posted on how I feel about them. I currently live with a cat named Hank (full name: “Get Off the Table, Hank”… ) and he doesn’t bother me. I leave him alone, and he leaves me alone—good deal. My ideal home: My ideal home would have a fenced yard for me to play in, though it’s not a requirement. I am good with kids and cats, so I’d be fine if there were some of those in my new home. My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who will be gracious during the adjustment period, as I don’t know that I can be my true and silly self until I am comfortable. A calm, gentle, patient adopter would be amazing—even better if they have a routine so I can figure out my schedule. Additional info you might want to know about me: I like lap cuddles and slow mornings. However, I don’t like how my foster mom folds all my blankets after I spend so much time arranging them just how I like. What is she doing?! She does that with my toys too, so I make sure to take them out of the basket to show her that I am not done playing with them. Maybe she just doesn’t understand? I haven’t figured out what my foster mom wants me to do when I am on a leash, so I stand there until she picks me up; apparently, I’m supposed to “go for walkies”? Eh, just carry me instead. I am having a great time with my foster humans, as they are gentle, generous, and patient with me while I learn my new environment. I love that they show me loads of affection and tell me I’m the goodest girl! They introduced me to a few tiny humans, too; they were pretty cool and liked to pet me! I’m going to be a great addition to my new family. Prior to applying to adopt Gravy, please review our adoption process on our website with rules and process information.
