Intake Date: 11/15/2024
Origination Place: Breeder surrender Last Update: 01/04/2024 Age: 2-4 years (estimated) DOB: Unknown Gender: Female Weight: 50 lbs. Energy Level: Low Color & Markings: Black, brindle and white Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: Yes Object Aggression: None Special Needs: None Medications: Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: Working on it! House Trained: Working on it! Physical Fence Required: No My likes: I love my crate. Foster mom leaves it open for me and I go there to feel safe. I’ve played with a few toys but haven’t taken a strong liking to anything yet. Time will tell! My dislikes: I don’t like the vacuum and carpet cleaner! Why are they so loud?! I’m not too sure on stairs either. I haven’t attempted to go up or down the stairs at my foster mom’s house. I get along with: Everyone! My canine foster sister is quiet and calm and we coexist fine so far. My ideal home: I think I can adapt anywhere. Quiet homes suit my napping schedule. A busy house would be fine too as long as I have a safe space like my crate to retreat to. A fenced yard is always a bonus but isn’t a requirement for me. I get along with other dogs, so a home with another dog would be fine. My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone that will be patient with me as I continue to learn how to be a dog and work on training. Additional info you might want to know about me: I am very easy-going and so sweet. I don’t beg for food, don’t care much for treats and am unable to jump on the furniture due to my short legs. I’m nice and quiet and my foster mom says she has yet to hear me bark! I like being around people but am perfectly content retreating to my crate for quiet time (though this may change as I settle into a routine in my forever home!). I’ve met lots of people during my foster journey and if they give me attention, I’m a friend for life!
