Energy Level: Low/Moderate Color & Markings: White and brindle Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Yes, but will chase Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: No Object Aggression: None Special Needs: Luxating patella of right hind leg, cherry eye to left eye, heart murmur Medications: Monthly heartworm and /flea/tick preventative; daily eye lubricating ointment Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes, on a schedule. Physical Fence Required: Strongly preferred My likes: I love everyone. I really love my foster dog friends the most. I love to play with any type of toy and shopping in the toy buckets is my favorite hobby. I love big comfy beds and laying with everyone on the couch. I’m learning that I also love to play in the snow and help clear a path by eating it. I also love mealtime and getting treats. My dislikes: I am not a fan of the vacuum, especially the roomba. I don’t care for loud noises or bath time. I also decided the only time I like to walk on a leash is when I’m trying to get out of the vets office as quickly as I can. I get along with: Everyone is my best friend! My ideal home: My ideal home has a fenced yard so that I can play outside at my own pace, as I'm not a huge fan of going on walks. Other dogs to play with would be a blast! I’d love a home with fewer stairs and a couch I can sit on. My ideal adopter: I would fit into almost any household as long as they will love me and treat me the way I deserve to be treated. My adopter should be able to keep me on a regular daily schedule, and be patient with me as I learn to be a dog (my foster mom says I’m going great at it!). Additional info you might want to know about me: My foster mom says I’m an old soul and that I am the sweetest girl who is just interested in pleasing my family and finally being able to be a real dog. I am adjusting very well to this house life. My foster mom always reminds me there’s a reason she does not call me “Grace,” as I’m quite clumsy at times. I have never had an accident in my crate and I sleep all night long in one. I am also crated when my foster mom has to leave the house and I do great. I do have luxating patella so I have to be cautious to not overexert myself. I have learned so much from watching my two canine foster siblings, and I mimic what they do. I’d love to continue to have dog friends to mentor me! I will be very easy to teach commands to if someone works with me.
