My ideal home: I'd love a home where I am welcome to be with my people no matter where they are. A safe and secure outdoor space where I could lounge in the shade, watch the birds and breathe fresh air is a requirement. A calm sibling to hang with would be nice, but I'd be okay as an only dog getting all the scratchies, too! My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who's looking for a sidekick to walk with, hang with and chill with when our day is done. I've made a lot of human friends in my foster family's neighborhood and would like to keep that going. Additional info you might want to know about me: I am generally a quiet boy who wants to be with my people. I tend to get excited when I see dogs through the gate and fence who are rowdy. I am learning that I should not respond to this kind of excitement by herding my siblings. Someone to keep me on track with that would be great! In all other ways, I am a gentlemen. If you tell me to wait before going through a door or gate, I'll do that. I love a good game of fetch. I might not always bring the ball back, but I'll give it up if I'm not too excited. I take baths well, which is a good thing because I have a bit of a seasonal skin thing that is being controlled with medicated baths.
