My likes: I enjoy snacks, toys (mostly chew toys, but I basically want all the toys), cuddling, sleeping in the bed with the people, and being the center of attention. I love attention!
My dislikes: I don’t like being in my crate for long periods. I’ll do it, but I don’t like it.
I get along with: Everyone! Dogs, cats, people, whoever—but they have to acquiesce that I’m the Boss Applesauce. I’ll nicely remind them with a little shoulder bump if they forget.
My ideal home: I'll need a home where I can be helped up the stairs on the days I have troubles; some days my legs give me problems so I struggle a bit with steps and need help to get on the couch with my people. A fenced-in yard would be nice, as I like to roam the yard and smell every little smell. If there are other dogs in the house, I'd probably do best with ones that are laid-back and neutral, because I like to be in charge and am not afraid to show it. Let's just say I'm a confident and expressive guy! Can anyone tell me what “Little Man Syndrome” is? My foster mom says I have that, whatever that means. Who knows!
My ideal adopter: My perfect family will have lots of love, cookies, toys, and cuddles for me. I like (very short) leash walks, but really enjoy exploring the yard. I also really like going places in the car (particularly if there are French fries involved!).
Additional info you might want to know about me: My sister Saber and I came to BBR together. We are quite the team, but we agree that we would be OK if we have to split up. As long as I have somebody to cuddle, play with, and supervise, I’m good.
Our foster family says we are the sweetest and most loving guests that they have had. I haven’t heard the exact words, but I am sure that means I’m the greatest of all time. (I already knew that.)
I am affectionate, crate trained, (mostly) house trained, don’t beg for food (as much as l LOVE food), walk well on a leash, and am perfect on car rides. I don’t chew things I’m not supposed to chew. I am excellent when it’s time for my eye meds; I need them three times per day, but it’s a breeze. It just gives you more opportunity to look at my pretty face!
Whichever lucky family is chosen for me is the luckiest family ever. I’m the best! (Hey, it’s not bragging if you’re right!)
