🐾 About Pierogi

Pierogi is a deeply sensitive, gentle bulldog who is learning what it means to feel safe in the world. She came to rescue as a breeder surrender and is still figuring out how to exist outside of that environment.
She is affectionate in her own quiet way—more of a soft presence than a shadow. Pierogi enjoys cuddling, calm companionship, and predictable routines. She is not demanding, pushy, or high-energy. She is thoughtful. Observant. And a little overwhelmed by life.

🏡 What Pierogi Needs
Pierogi is very anxious and requires an adopter who understands that confidence comes slowly—not through force, but through patience.
Things that are currently scary for her:

• Stairs (especially more than a short flight)
• Traffic and busy environments
• Loud noises and fast movement
• Being approached from above

She feels safest when people meet her at her level—literally and emotionally.
Pierogi does not enjoy leash walks right now; the world feels too big. A secure, physical fenced yard is required so she can decompress and take care of her needs without pressure.
