Intake Date: 04/03/2025
Origination Place: Breeder surrender Last Update: 05/16/2025 Age: 3 years DOB: 10/13/2021 Gender: Female Weight: 39.5 lbs. Energy Level: High Color & Markings: Tan and white Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: Unknown Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: Object Aggression: None Special Needs: None Medications: Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: No House Trained: Almost there! Physical Fence Required: Yes My likes: I love my four-legged friends, running in and out of house, food, treats and sliced cheese. I like being close to my foster mom, sneaking in kisses, tugging on her clothes and playing a bit of tug of war. My dislikes: I’m really still learning about life outside of having puppies so every thing is new and a mystery. I can be shy around people and really don’t like the leash or crate yet, but I’m trying. Grass is an oddity so I try and avoid it at this time. I get along with: I love my dog friends the best. We run in and out of house together, investigate all the noises outside and people walking by, and have constant WWE matches. My ideal home: My ideal home is going to be a home that has dogs for me to play with and bond with. I would definitely like to have a yard that fenced in so that I can play outside. My ideal adopter: The perfect adapter for me would be one that’s going to have patience helping me to be 100% confident with all people and in all situations. I’d like someone that’s going to continue to teach me and guide me with being confident on a leash and helping me with crate training (I am fine with being gated into a hallway, but the crate thing is new to me). Additional info you might want to know about Piper from her foster mom: Piper is one of those special dogs that when you look at her, she just makes you smile. She really is a happy and curious girl, and one that actually tries to communicate with you with her eyes. She really wants to trust you, she’s just unsure currently. She’s smart and inquisitive and at times acts as if she’s a puppy. It’s going to take some time for her to completely trust people, but I think over time she’ll end up being one of those cuddly bulldogs!
