Origination Place: Shelter pull Last Update: 12/16/2024 Age: 1.5 years DOB: 05/22/2023 Gender: Female Weight: 47 lbs. Energy Level: Low/Moderate Color & Markings: Merle Good with other dogs: Yes Good with cats: No Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: Yes Object Aggression: None Special Needs: None Medications: Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative; Proviable Forte; Epi-Otic Advanced; Montana’s Otic Crate Trained: Working on it! House Trained: Working on it! Physical Fence Required: No My likes: I LOVE all humans, especially if they give me constant belly rubs—and treats are extra bonus points! I enjoy walks and do great on a leash. A cozy couch or bed is my preference to take a good snooze on, but I’ll plump my butt down anywhere as I love naps! And if I can hitch a car ride, I’m game. I love car rides! My dislikes: Loud barking dogs or overly energetic pups aren’t my vibe. I don’t like when I can’t see my humans, and I’d rather always be at their side. I get along with: All humans: Big ones, little ones, old ones and young ones. I like calm dogs that don’t pay attention to me, but I’m not a fan of cats. My ideal home: I would do okay home with a dog that just wants to lay around, and pays no attention to me—or even better, a home where I am the only dog where I can get all the attention. A fenced yard isn’t a must for me, as I like being with my people more than anything. My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who values cozy time and appreciates the art of a good cuddle. They should be gentle and patient and understand that overstimulation can make me skittish at times. I would also like an adopter to continue working with me on training. Additional info you might want to know about me: I love getting attention—so much so that I don’t always understand what personal space is, as I always want to be at your side. I love giving kisses and cuddling on your lap or next to you. I do fine in my crate while my foster family is away. I’d love a home without boxer-level chaos: my current canine foster brother thinks every day is a WWE match, and I’m just trying to live my best, calm life. Got a quieter vibe? Let’s chat!
