Tahini is a sweet French Bulldog puppy who recently joined the BBR family and is currently settling into foster care.
Tahini was born with pulmonic stenosis, a congenital heart condition that is unfortunately common in bulldogs. Her condition is considered serious, but at this time she is stable, feeling well, and enjoying puppy life. Tahini’s heart is working harder than average, and she will require ongoing cardiology monitoring and long-term medical management as she grows. Tahini does not currently have heart failure, fluid accumulation, or activity limitations beyond what she naturally sets for herself. Her care plan is focused on thoughtful monitoring, medication, and future decision-making centered on her quality of life rather than urgency. Tahini will do best in a home that understands her diagnosis, is comfortable with continued veterinary follow-up, and values patience, observation, and steady care. This is not a puppy in crisis — she is a puppy who needs an adopter willing to partner in long-term medical stewardship. As her foster family gets to know her personality, routine, and preferences, we’ll continue to update her profile with more information about what kind of home will help her thrive.
