Intake Date: 02/09/2023
Origination Place: Breeder surrender Last Update: 02/23/2023 Age: 1.5 years DOB: 08/04/2021 Gender: Female Weight: 17 lbs. Energy Level: Color & Markings: Blue and brindle Good with other dogs: Yes, with a slow intro Good with cats: Unknown Homes with children under 8 can be considered: Yes Object Aggression: None Special Needs: None Medications: Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Working on it! Physical Fence Required: Preferred My likes: I love all humans, big and little! I love car rides and exploring outside. Playing with toys and getting belly rubs are my favorite. My dislikes: There’s nothing that I don’t like. Although sometimes I’m a bit stubborn on walks and you may have to pick me up if I don’t want to go the same way you may want to go. Luckily I’m just a little peanut, so no worries there! I get along with: Everyone, though I’m not so sure about the resident boxer dog because he has A LOT of energy. That’s not my speed. My ideal home: My ideal home would be one where I can get a lot of snuggles and cuddles, as they are my favorite! I’m also happy to just be in a cozy bed lounging in the sunshine. I do fine in a crate, but my humans here let me sleep with them and I sleep through the night. A fenced yard would be great as I sometimes chase leaves and I’m curious about squirrels. If not, leash walking is just fine. I would do fine with other dogs, but, I think I’d prefer mellow dogs over high-energy dogs. My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter has to be a cuddle bug just like me! They also must enjoy going shopping and buying me all the toys, that’s what my foster mama does. I love a good chew toy and balls. Plus it keeps me from wanting to chew and eat everything I find. I’m a pretty low key chill girl, so someone to just hang out with on the couch or to play a good game of fetch will certainly have my heart. Additional info you might want to know about me: My front right paw is missing a second nail from the outside, so they say I have some funky toes. I also have angular limb deformity called bilateral carpal laxity, which means I walk on my carpal pads and not toes. Also, a plantigrade-plantar stance in all four limbs. It’s a lot of big words, but none of it seems to bother me at all; I run, jump, and play just fine! Plus I’m a beauty of a pup!
