Origination Place: Owner surrender Last Update: 04/23/2024 Age: 4 years DOB: 12/17/2018 Gender: Female Weight: 19 lbs. Energy Level: Moderate Color & Markings: Cream Good with other dogs: Dog selective Good with cats: Unknown Homes with children under 8 (but over 5) can be considered: No Object Aggression: None Special Needs: Prescription diet for sensitive stomach; Seasonal allergies Medications: Daily omeprazole; Probiotics; Monthly heartworm and flea/tick preventative Crate Trained: Yes House Trained: Yes Physical Fence Required: Preferred My likes: I love beds—your bed, my bed, all beds! Napping is also one of my favorites. I like to go outside and sniff around the yard. I like cookies, cheese chews and stuffed toys. Like to go for rides in the car? So do I, I am a fantastic copilot. My dislikes: I am not a fan of loud, overly active dogs, as they make me very anxious. My prior owner said that I exhibited food aggression with other dogs; however, at my current house, I eat in the same room as my canine foster siblings without issue. I get along with: I love my humans! I follow my foster mom all around the house and when my foster dad gets home from work, I shower him with love and kisses. Overly active and hyper dogs make me a little anxious; however, I do get along with my canine foster sister, who is laid back and unassuming. My ideal home: My ideal home is a quiet one, where I will be allowed to roam around at my leisure. My foster mom says I am a pro at pottying outside and not chewing on things I am not supposed to, so I will come to my forever family already trained. A home without children would probably be best for me. Since I do like to wander around the yard, a fenced yard would be fantastic. My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who promises to love me the rest of my life and shower me with attention. Additional info you might want to know about me: I was surrendered by my prior owner because I did not get along with the family’s new puppy. When I was surrendered, my whole world was turned upside down, so when came to my foster home, I was depressed and frightened. However, I have really started to come out of my shell and my queen-like personality is shining through! With a slow introduction, my foster family feels that I would be okay in a home with an older, low-key dog; however, I would also be perfectly fine (and maybe even prefer) being the only dog. I have no issues with my face being washed, ears being cleaned, feet getting wiped, or nails being clipped. I am not a huge fan of bath time but what Frenchie is fond of getting wet?!? My foster mom and dad say I am a beautiful, sweet girl with so much to offer a family who is willing to be patient and loving with me.
