I love treats and am learning to love affection. I have fallen in love with all my new toys, especially toys that squeak! I am also a collector: I love to grab socks and shoes and put them in my bed. I don’t tear them up but just like to collect them. My dislikes: I don’t like quick movements or super-loud noises. I get along with: Pretty much everyone! I don’t love other dogs, but I will tolerate them and am curious about them. I sometimes show some initial aggression with them, but then become and am pretty harmless My ideal home: I would prefer a quiet home without a lot of chaos. A fenced yard would be ideal for me. I would probably be best as an only dog or with an elderly low-energy canine sibling, as I can be a bit timid and don’t love to play with other dogs. Because I am still getting used to being a pet, a home without small children would be best for me. My ideal adopter: My ideal adopter is someone who understands that I have been through a very rough few years and I am really just learning how to live like a normal dog. I will need a lot of love and encouragement but I will give that right back! I am timid and scared with anything new so I need encouragement and patience with new situations and introductions. Additional info you might want to know about me: I was severely neglected for years when I came to BBR. I had years of dental decay and have teeth that rotted and broke. Despite my history, I am so chill and well behaved! I like to eat and then sit on my spot on the couch all day like the best girl. I am a little protective of my things around other dogs and like to keep a watchful eye on them but I am generally very harmless and sweet. I am not a big cuddler and like to sleep on my own but love it when I am called and pet. I come running when I am called. My foster mom says I am so easy to love and low-maintenance to care for!
